With Easter coming up, the team at Gaithersburg Mazda thought it would be fun to share some of the best activities to do this year. With everything going on in today’s world, we know Easter traditions may be hard to keep this year, but all the activities we list below can be done right from the safety and comfort of your own home. We hope you enjoy and add these to your Easter festivities.
Backyard Easter Egg Hunt
The first activity we wanted to share is already a classic, but there’s nothing better than a backyard Easter egg hunt. Whether you just want to set one up for the kids or want to get everyone involved, an Easter egg hunt is always fun. You can stuff the eggs full of candy, money, or anything else you want. You can set up the Easter egg hunt so that each individual person has to find color-coordinated eggs, or you can just have it be a race to see who gets the most in a set amount of time. Either way, it’s bound to be a bunch of fun.
Read Easter Themed Books and Stories
Another, more mellow Easter activity is to pull out a book or come up with a fantastic story about Easter. You can share it with your kids, or anyone else you have over for the day’s festivities. You can choose to read one, or many, and they can be easily found just by searching on Google.
Create and Give a Gift Basket to a Neighbor
If you want to give back to someone this Easter holiday, creating an Easter gift basket is the perfect way to do that. You can fill it up with a ton of different goodies that you know the person will like, and then head over and drop it off for them. No matter what’s inside, we are sure this activity will leave both parties happy and feeling great.
Jelly Bean Guessing Games
One last Easter activity we have for you today involves delicious jelly beans. You can either count them up and put them in a jar and have people guess how many are inside, or you can go one by one and try to guess the different flavors of each jelly bean. You can award the winner of either of these games however you like, but make sure there are some jelly beans leftover for everyone else!
