What safety features come standard with the 2021 Mazda6?

When it comes time to search for a new vehicle, the safety features and packages that come with that vehicle should rank at the top of your priority list of things that are most important. With the 2021 Mazda6, you will drive off the lot with the peace of mind knowing that you have a reliable, dependable vehicle equipped with a bunch of different safety specs designed to keep you safe. Let’s discuss them and what they do below.

2021 Mazda6 – Blind Spot Monitoring

The first safety spec installed in the Mazda6 is the Blind Spot Monitor that keeps an eye out for other vehicles that may be approaching from either side of your vehicle into that tiny spot that a driver can’t see while out on the road. When a vehicle approaches this gap in vision your Mazda will alert you with an audible signal and with a warning light on your mirrors to make sure you don’t lane change and get in an avoidable accident.

2021 Mazda6 – Rear Cross Traffic Alert

When you are backing out of a parking spot or your garage, the rear cross-traffic alert system equipped in the 2021 Mazda6 will keep you safe. The rear cross-traffic alert feature helps detect whether or not another vehicle or pedestrian or even a stable object might be in your driving path as you back up. If there is something approaching or in your way, the system will give off an audible and visual signal to make sure you make the necessary adjustments needed to stay safe.

2021 Mazda6 – Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go

If you are stuck driving in stressful situations more than most, the radar cruise control option available in the Mazda6 will benefit you a ton. The radar cruise control system will set a speed and distance to stay away from traffic in front of you. If the vehicle you are following suddenly decreases in speed your vehicle will do the same automatically.

2021 Mazda6 – Smart Brake Support

When traveling at speeds that are more than ten miles per hour, the smart brake support system helps detect vehicles in front of you and helps brake for you if it detects a potential collision.
